has an opening for an Assistant Clinical Professor, CCC/SLP, M.A., M.S, or
Ph.D. Consecutive term, full-time, 10 month appointment. Longevity of the
position is dependent upon continued funding from clinical revenue. The
University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) is seeking an
individual to provide clinical supervision for graduate students in
speech-language pathology for the John W. Keys Speech and Hearing Center (JKSH)
and to participate in its academic mission. The JKSH is a full-service,
clinical facility that is housed in the Department of Communication
Sciences and Disorders,
College
of
Allied Health
, at the OUHSC. Position
responsibilities include the supervision of clinical services and possible
teaching of one didactic course per semester. Applicants
should possess excellent communication, team-building, problem-solving,

scholarly/creative activities, service and committee assignments. Qualifications
include an earned Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology (ABD considered)
and ASHA CCC-SLP.
Applicant must hold or be eligible for
Oklahoma
licensure. Previous
higher-education teaching experience in the areas of voice, dysphagia and
the neurosciences preferred. Salary commensurate with experience.

Associate/Full
Professor: Requirements
include an earned Ph.D. degree in SLP, expertise in organic communication
disorders, and a sustained record of successful university teaching,
research, and service. Preference will be given to applicants with
CCC
-SLP, possession of or eligibility for
Oklahoma
licensure, and the ability to co-direct the department’s
interdisciplinary Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Clinic. A history of
extramural funding is desirable. Responsibilities include, but are not
limited to, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in voice and
orofacial anomalies; supervising graduate students in and co-directing of
the Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Clinic; conducting research and teaching
doctoral courses in areas of interest; participating in university

implementing clinic policies, liaising with external practicum sites,
implementing research-based best-practice service delivery models, and
overseeing all clinical requirements for

accreditation. Responsibilities also include teaching the graduate clinic
forum course and supervising graduate interns. This position will open
